Website Optimization Plain and Simple

You can have the most attractive website in the world with all the bells and whistles but if nobody is visiting it is just a waste of your time. The goal of a website is to attract visitors so that they can participate in what you are offering and in the case of a product, to buy what you are selling. Website optimization is a strategy to make sure you rank well with the major search engines and keep people coming back to your site. The first step of setting up an internet marketing campaign is your website optimization strategy. Here are a few questions to consider:

1. What goal do you have for your website?
2. How are you going to reach your goal?

In the brick and mortar world we would call this setting up a business plan; and guess what folks, you need one online too. The success or failure of your site depends to a large degree upon how well you have defined your website goals. A failure to plan is planning to fail.
